WHERE IT BEGAN

The Story of Haunts: An Accident, or Something Else?

Esme and Evelyn conjured the concept of Haunts around the kitchen table on December 23rd 2025, after they found themselves lost and at a major crossroads in their lives.

Searching in the dark for answers, the two friends, third-generation witches and professional women, realised those answers were inside them all along. They just needed a little magic to bring them to the surface.

The women mixed their background in academia, science and storytelling to create a symbolic ritual object to help others ground their intentions in something tangible. Inspired by the Victorian practices, they believe magic comes from within, and that every person has the power to change their life. But sometimes, we just need a focal point to anchor the transformation.

It was only after they discovered that the 23rd of December is the final day of the ancient Roman Saturnalia, when small figurines known as sigilla were given as gifts. It seemed like a sign.

What began unexpectedly has grown into a collection shaped by story, ritual and personal intention. Whether you call it manifestation, meditation, prayer or simply a moment to focus on change, Haunts are made to give that intention something physical to return to.

There is no right or wrong way to choose a Haunt. You might begin with the intention that feels most relevant to your life, feel instinctively drawn to a particular Haunt, or simply choose the one you connect with most as an object. Each Haunt is individually formed in England from a fine mineral blend, with a smooth, solid and stone-like feel. Subtle differences in colour, pattern, texture and surface character mean no two will look completely identical, while occasional tiny marks or air bubbles may naturally be present.
